The Durham Bulls are the 2013 International League Champions following their 7-0 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox last night at McCoy in Game four of the Governor’s Cup Finals.  Durham won the best-of-five series three games to one.

Governor’s Cup Finals Game Three- Bulls 2, PawSox 0, 14 Innings

The Pawtucket Red Sox and Durham Bulls engaged in a pitcher’s duel in game three of the Governor’s Cup Finals last night at McCoy.  The Bulls broke the deadlock with two runs in the top of the 14th inning to come away with a 2-0 win and a two games to one lead in the best-of-five series.

UP NEXT-  The PawSox have today off and begin the best-of-five opening round of the Governor’s Cup Playoffs tomorrow night at Rochester against the Red Wings.  Rochester earned the wild card spot in the International League with a win yesterday over Scranton-Wilkes Barre while Norfolk dropped their finale against Durham.  Game time is 7:05pm.  The PawSox will host games three through five of the playoofs beginning Friday night.
