The Durham Bulls are the 2013 International League Champions following their 7-0 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox last night at McCoy in Game four of the Governor’s Cup Finals.  Durham won the best-of-five series three games to one.

Governor’s Cup Finals Game Three- Bulls 2, PawSox 0, 14 Innings

The Pawtucket Red Sox and Durham Bulls engaged in a pitcher’s duel in game three of the Governor’s Cup Finals last night at McCoy.  The Bulls broke the deadlock with two runs in the top of the 14th inning to come away with a 2-0 win and a two games to one lead in the best-of-five series.

The Pawtucket Red Sox scored three runs in the second inning and received some stellar pitching to defeat the Rochester Red Wings, 3-0 yesterday at McCoy and winning the Governor’s Cup Semi-Final series three games to two.

UPDATES-  Jackie Bradley, Jr. was called up to the Red Sox yesterday as Jacoby Ellsbury was rested with a sore foot. OF Shannon Wilkerson was recalled from Portland to fill Bradley’s roster spot.
