The Pawtucket Red Sox shut out the Buffalo Bisons, 3-0, last night at McCoy.  The PawSox won two of three over Buffalo and now lead the Bisons by 2.5 games in the race for the I.L. Wild Card spot.

The Pawtucket Red Sox and Buffalo Bisons engaged in an old-fashioned offensive slugfest last night at Coca-Cola Field, with the Bisons coming out on top 12-8.

NOTES-  The PawSox yesterday welcomed RHP Brock Huntzinger to the team from Portland.  To make room on the roster, pitcher Jose De La Torre was placed on the temporarily inactive list retroactive to June 13th.

Game 65- PawSox 1, Bisons 0 & Game 66- PawSox 8, Bisons 7, 9 innings

The Pawtucket Red Sox used some late game magic to sweep a double header over the Buffalo Bisons last night at McCoy.  The PawSox scored the only run of the game in the bottom of the seventh in game one to win 1-0.  They scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh in game two to tie the game than got the game winner in the bottom of the ninth to come away with a 8-7 victory.
