Governor’s Cup Final Game 2- PawSox 2, Knights 0

The Pawtucket Red Sox finds itself one win away from the International League Championship following last night’s 2-0 win over the Charlotte Knights in Game two of the Governor’s Cup Finals at McCoy Stadium. The PawSox have a two games to none lead in the bast-of-five series.

UP NEXT- The PawSox can secure their first Governor’s Cup Championship since 1984 with a win tonight in game three of the series in Fort Mill, SC. Game time is 7:15p.m. with Nelson Figueroa (1-0, 1.13 ERA)/(12-5, 3.89 ERA) getting the start for Pawtucket and Matt Zaleski (1-0, 3.24 ERA)/(7-6, 3.70 ERA) on the mound for Charlotte.
