The Pawtucket Red Sox got back into the win column last night, edging the Syracuse Chiefs, 3-2, at McCoy.

NOTES:  Red Sox OF Jacoby Ellsbury began the next stage of his rehab assignment last night with the PawSox.  Ellsbury wen 0 for 4 with a strikeout.  Ellsbury has been sidelined since early April with a separated shoulder.

Buchholz will make the start this afternoon after being sidelined since June 19 after suffering from esophagitis — a condition that led to intestinal bleeding and an extended hospital stay.

UP NEXT: The two teams wrap-up their two game series before the All-Star Break this afternoon at 1:05p.m.  Yunesky Maya (6-6, 3.58 ERA) starts for the Chiefs. Clay Buchholz (NR) goes for Pawtucket.
