Game 54- PawSox 3, Tides 2

The Pawtucket Red Sox have taken two of the first three games over the Norfolk Tides, winning last night, 3-2.

Game 53- PawSox 11, Norfolk 8

The Pawtucket Red Sox and Norfolk Tides took part in a slugfest last night at McCoy.  In the end the PawSox came up on top 11-8.

Game 52- Tides 6, PawSox 4

The Norfolk Tides belted three home runs in their 6-4 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox yesterday in the opener of a four game series at McCoy.

NOTES:  The PawSox welcomed back OF Che-Hsuan Lin.  Lin was sent down by the Red Sox after OF Ryan Sweeney was re-instated by the club following a stint on the 7- day disabled list with a comcussion.

Game 51- PawSox 7, Mud Hens 4

The Pawtucket Red Sox belted five home runs, two by Lars Anderson, in beating the Toledo Mud Hens, 7-4, last night at McCoy.

Game 50- PawSox 8, Mud Hens 5

The Pawtucket Red Sox scored seven runs in the bottom of the eighth to come away with a 8-5 win over the Toledo Mud Hens last night at McCoy.  The PawSox also received a solid pitching performance from the rehabbing Daisuke Matsizaka, who threw five scoreless innings.

The Toledo Mud Hens scored three runs in the top of the ninth to come away with a 5-4 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox last night at McCoy.

NOTES:  OF Ronald Bermudez was called up to Pawtucket from Portland, taking the spot of OF Scott Podsednek.  It was also announced yesterday that Darnell McDonald will begin a rehab assignment with Pawtucket beginning tonight.  After one start skipped in the rotation, Daisuke Matsuzaka is expected to continue his rehab stint with Pawtucket with a start tomorrow night.
