The Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees remain a 1/2 ahead of Pawtucket in the IL North Division after their 7-6 win over the Syracuse Chiefs. The Yankees scored five runs in the last two innings to secure the victory. BOX

The PawSox now have a 10 game lead for the IL wild card berth after the Toledo Mud Hens fell to the Norfolk Tides 5-2. BOX

The Louisville Bats had their 8-game winning streak snapped last night at the hands of the Columbus Clippers 11-5. BOX

Lefty Aaron Laffey threw 8 scoreless innings of ball to lead the Buffalo Bisons to a 2-0 shut out of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. BOX

The Rochester Red Wings scored two runs in the eighth, and two in the ninth to nip the Indianapolis Indians 6-5. BOX

The Richmond Braves broke a 2-2 tie with a single run in the eighth to over take the Durham Bulls 3-2. BOX
