PawSox Take Home Governor’s Cup with Sweep of Knights

The Pawtucket Red Sox won their first International League title since 1984 after sweeping the Charlotte Knights, 4-1, last night in Game four of the Governor’s Cup Finals.

UP NEXT- The PawSox season is not over. They will play the winner of the Pacific Coast League Finals between the Reno Aces and Omaha Storm Chasers. That winner-take-all one game playoff will take place next Tuesday at 7:05p.m. in Durham, NC. The Aces and Storm Chacres are tied at one game apiece in their best-of-five series with game three tonight.
