The Pawtucket Red Sox enter the All-Star break with a two game winning streak, beating the Syracuse Chiefs yesrterday afternoon, 4-1 at McCoy.

NOTES- Clay Buchholz started for the PawSox on a rehab stint from Boston.  He went only 2 1/3 innings, giving up one hit while walking two and striking out three.  He threw 43 pitches, 20 for strikes.

Jacoby Ellsbury made his second rehab start in center for Pawtucket.  He went 1 for 4 with a run scored.

UP NEXT-  The PawSox are off for the All-Star Break.  They return to action Thursday when they open a four game series with the Buffalo Bisons.  Jeremy Hefner (4-2, 2.50 ERA) will start for Buffalo. Doug Mathis (6-6, 4.05ERA) will go for the PawSox.  Thursday’s game starts at 7:05p.m. and can be seen on NESN.
